Steel Crossfire Character Guides: Roster, Stats & Roles
Browse Valorian and Reaver roster context, then open evidence-aware profiles for Beater, Centurion, Roughcut, Strato, Nightreign, and Bastion. Structured community snapshots are labeled and paired with live verification steps, while characters with sparse evidence receive testing plans instead of invented stats, weapons, prices, or roles. Use the same map, range, objective, match phase, and player familiarity when comparing profiles, then verify the current card before spending Shards. Date each live profile you record.

How the character profiles handle uneven evidence
The official game description establishes the two sides as Valorians and Reavers but does not publish a complete structured roster or balance table. Archived community pages fill some discovery gaps and are attributed accordingly. The roster guide shows documented names by side and explains where predecessor mappings help with older searches without making old mechanics current.
Bastion, Centurion, and Strato have the strongest structured community profiles in the evidence packet. Their pages report the archived Health, Speed, Average DO, cost, weapon slots, skins, and unofficial roles as community snapshots, then require the player to recheck the live card. Beater has verified Season 1 identity context but incomplete current kit data. Roughcut has roster and gameplay evidence without a full structured profile. Nightreign has especially sparse evidence and is not assigned fabricated details.
Every profile ends with practical comparison rules. Test the same map, range, route, objective, match phase, and player familiarity. Track access to useful range, time spent effective, survival, escape, and opportunity cost. A highlight total is one player's result, not a base stat; a higher price is not an automatic power score; and a community role label is shorthand rather than an official universal tier.
Keep a dated profile sheet when you test live. Record faction, current cost or unlock rule, visible stats, weapon slots, transformed state, level, skin, event modifier, and patch date. If a field is not shown, leave it unknown instead of filling it from a predecessor or visually similar character.

Begin with the roster or open a specific profile, then use the current live card to fill only the fields you can actually see and date.

Character guide questions
Which characters are in Steel Crossfire?
The roster guide lists the Valorian and Reaver names supported by the archived community evidence. Use the live selection screen for current availability and newly added characters.
Are the character stats official?
Detailed structured values are generally community-documented snapshots, not official permanent balance data. Each profile tells you which fields to confirm in the current card.
Why do Roughcut and Nightreign have fewer numbers?
Their evidence packets do not contain a reliable complete current profile. The pages preserve the gap and provide controlled live checks instead of copying values from another character.
Does the predecessor name prove the same kit?
No. A community mapping helps locate older material but does not prove that the current character retains the same weapons, stats, purchases, forms, or availability.
How should I choose a character to buy?
Name the roster job, compare accessible alternatives under the same conditions, verify the current price, and use the calculator to protect a reserve. Do not buy from one highlight or rank alone.

Choose a character by a job you can test
Start with the roster, inspect one evidence-aware profile, and verify current stats, kit, form, price, and availability before spending.
